Fetch.AI weekly newsletter #022 – Did you miss any of our updates this week?

Hello from everyone at Fetch.AI

As you can imagine, it has been a busy week since we announced on 1 February that the token sale will begin at 2pm (UTC) 25 February on Binance Launchpad. If you would like to participate in the sale, please create an account on the Binance website and complete the KYC verification checks. You can find out all of the latest details by going to our project page on the Binance Launchpad website.

It has been wonderful to see so many new people join the Fetch.AI community and learn about the project. As the awareness of our technology has grown, so too unfortunately has the number of attempts by fraudsters to target members of the community. In order to protect yourself, please remain vigilant and read our blog post about security.

Following on from last week’s news about the sale, this week we announced Fetch.AI has joined the Trusted IoT Alliance. This is another exciting step and will see us collaborate with a number of companies, such as as Bosch, T-Labs and Cisco, to help us accelerate the deployment of autonomous agents. In the next few weeks we look forward to revealing some of the the cutting edge technology that we and other members of the alliance are working on together to build the IoT.

On Wednesday, our chief technology officer Toby Simpson published an article analysing the limitations of AI and why he feels optimistic about the direction that innovations in technology will take us during 2019.

The following day, lead software engineer Joshua Croft featured in an article published by Railway Technology, discussing the potential impact our technology could have on the rail sector and the vast improvements it would make to our journeys.

We have also written an article to help new members of the Fetch.AI community understand our technology. This summarises how our network operates using Autonomous Economic Agents.

Finally, we have welcomed a new advisor to the Fetch.AI team. Kash Iftikhar is Vice President of product, strategy & GTM for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle’s Gen2 cloud platform. He has a wealth of business experience and we are delighted to have him on board.
