As we move to the next exciting phase of development at Fetch, we are delighted to announce Daniel Honerkamp is joining us as a machine learning engineer.
While studying economics at the University of Zurich, Daniel worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Macroeconomics and Labour Markets. After graduating, Daniel spent a year in the GDP forecasting team of the Swiss National Bank before returning to academia, where he gained an MSc in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning at University College London. Here, his research focused on ways to harness attention and sequential processing to enable models to actively reason about objects they encounter.
Daniel’s knowledge of statistical modelling and artificial intelligence will further enhance the expertise of Fetch’s software development team.
