We are excited to welcome our first intern to the Fetch.AI team.
Tian Huey Teh obtained an MSc in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning from University College London last year. Her thesis was in neural machine translation, exploring architectures that aim to explicitly model the underlying semantic meaning of sentences.
Prior to this, Tian spent five years working as an economist in the monetary policy department of the Malaysian central bank. Here she was primarily responsible for providing analysis and research on interest rates, liquidity and balance sheets to the monetary policy committee. As part of her work, Tian also studied the evolution of monetary systems.
Tian is joining us in our Cambridge office, but this isn’t her first spell in the city as she studied economics at the University of Cambridge from 2009-2012.
We hope that Tian is able to deepen her understanding of distributed ledger technology and to explore the applications of machine learning during her internship with us.
Tian is the first of what we hope will be many Fetch interns. If you would like to get involved designing the digital economy of tomorrow, please visit our careers page.
